I own KainKain, a small company that produces embroidered home linen products, and I am also a Global Online Seller on Amazon, Etsy, and eBay.

It all started when I was redecorating my house in 2003, and wanted to find some modern embroidered home linen products. I had visited nearly all home furnishing stores in Jakarta, but was unable to find what I was looking for even though embroidery is one of Indonesia’s well-known trades.

Unable to find what I wanted, I tried designing products to the way I liked it, and got them made with help from local craftsmen. Months later, I began selling my products in exhibitions within Jakarta.

Back then, I was still working as a Manager at a financial company in Jakarta, with this business as my side project. Things changed when I received a business offer from a furniture and home furnishing store chain in Jakarta, asking me to supply items to them. That led me to quit my job to further develop my business.

I aim to make the brand KainKain and its products known in the global market. Opening an online store in several global online selling platforms has helped me achieve my vision.

After a couple of years selling on Etsy, I wanted to expand my business to Amazon. One of the requirements of being a seller on Amazon is to own a U.S. bank account. However, as a foreigner, it was very difficult for me to obtain one. This plan eventually had to be postponed until I found a payment solution.
